Beaverton Teacher Fills A Gap

As a teacher I saw the need for supporting local children in foster care. I knew once kids were in school there were resources offered. However, what about those younger years, where kids grow so fast and need so many items. Who was serving them? That is how With Love was born out of my house. The purpose was to support kids who are under school age while creating an opportunity for the community to donate or volunteer.

With Love

What We Do

With Love was founded in 2013 as not just a promise, but a vow to children experiencing foster care, tiny souls caught in a whirlwind of change, often too young to voice their needs. A gap existed between foster families and their communities: a lack of resources available for children in foster care, especially those under school age kids who often receive less support from existing services. These little ones, with their wide eyes and small hands, were growing up without the essentials that every child deserves.

A simple gesture—diapers, clothes, cribs—like all things nurtured with love, has grown to serve an average of 110 children per month in 22+ counties throughout Oregon & SW Washington.

All united by a single mission: to wrap these precious children in the warmth of a caring community.
