Support Back-to-School Season for Local Youth in Foster Care
This year, back-to-school expenses remain a challenge for many families, particularly for those welcoming children in care into their homes. We're rallying the community to support these resource families and alleviate some of the strain.
This summer, With Love is gathering crucial back-to-school supplies for children in foster care. In August, we're hosting a special event where resource (foster) families can shop for these items at no cost. Here's how you can pitch in!
Below are simple ways to come alongside little ones in foster care this season
Host a physical DONATION BOX at your place of business! We'll provide the flyers with suggested items and encourage you to decorate a box as a display. Shopping can be a bonding activity or a competition-it's up to you. Register now!
Shop local retailers for you favorite supplies from our Back-to-School list (click the image below to download/print). With Love asks that smaller "supply box" items be purchased via our Amazon wishlist OR each category of those items be inventoried ahead of drop-off. Then drop-off during With Love’s donation hours Monday, Wednesday or Friday 11am-1pm or check the map below for donation drop-off locations.
Register to help prepare for - or volunteer at - With Love's Back to School event! With Love will host Back to School on Sat, August 17 for 100 registered resource families to select some school supplies, connect with our staff & community partners, and have some fun!
Please bring collected items to the With Love Facility by August 12th so they can be prepared for the family shopping event
