Maya Cardoso

Maya, a local Oregonian and former resource parent, comes to With Love knowing the struggles of being prepared for and caring for children experiencing foster care. She is passionate about supporting resource families in their ability to say yes to every child and maintain the placement. She’s seen firsthand how With Love’s services facilitate that ability through their supportive staff, network, and community.
Her career background includes over a decade of owning and operating a successful local PDX restaurant, which taught her the need for community and trained her in the multitasking and self-starter mentality necessary for success in small organizations. Currently, she lives with her husband and family of two young children and enjoys the Pacific Northwest Wonderland as often as they can together.
